Thankfully Gumbet is another lad's holiday destination that makes your life nice and easy when it comes to working out where to head for your night out – yup: Bar Street! So no trying to make sense of a sketchy map from your hotel when you're working out the best place to be... There are loads of top-notch bars too – many of the beachside bars offer some awesome cocktails to get your night off to a banging start, and some go right through till the early hours if you don't want (or aren't able!) to move on. Away from the beach and The Outback offers a great Aussie experience and, sticking with that theme, there's a Murphy's Bar too with plenty of Irish tipples and a great atmosphere

Clubs in Gumbet

Some groups of lads stay in the bars till 3 or 4am as they do have a great atmosphere and keep on going through the night – Tropicana's and Shakers both have a dedicated following and can see you right through. It is definitely worth heading for a club for at least a couple of nights though. The most popular (especially with the ladies!) are the X–Bar which plays some classic floor-fillers, and Club Escape, which doesn't fill up till about 4am and is the only bar till go on through till 8am – when you'd might as well head straight on for a fry up!

Daytime in Gumbet

Gumbet's beach is the longest in the area – nearly half a mile – and you'll find that groups of lads and ladies congregate in the same areas – sharing tales of the previous night, and planning where to head and who to hook up with for the next big night out... The beach has all the activities you could possible want – from pedalos to parasailing – plus there are free sun loungers and hammocks. Sorted!
